Evan Liu

Living through the pandemic was a little bit harder than before the outbreak but peaceful. Instead of going to school, everyone was scared and not willing to go to school. Because of that, I had to join online lessons and learn. I was still happy to see my friends. It wasn't just school that only had online classes, I also had online drawing classes and had chores to do. I remember when I thought 100 cases in Australia was too much, today, Australia has got about 6 500 cases. Because I had to stay home, my parents rushed to the markets to buy groceries, and bought only a few toilet rolls. Luckily, I have my own computer and phone and I got to play video games during my free time with my friends and my brother. During the Easter holidays, Dad, Ivan and I ran 3km about 2 to 4 days a week in Carss Park and watch movies every night at home. In Carss Park, the playground and the beach was closed, however there were alot of people exercising in the park. That’s my COVID-19 experience.
