Emilia Golijan

This evolving experience of COVID-19, has meant that there have been significant changes on where I would normally complete my school work! For starters, schools all around Australia have been temporarily shut, meaning we have had to continue our learning online for the past two months. I have had to purchase a desk as I didn’t require one beforehand, not knowing I would have to learn from home. The pandemic of COVID-19 has truly taken over the world in all aspects, including my education. I also have had to purchase multiple binders and folders, in order for my learning space to be orderly. Through these hectic yet crazy times of COVID-19 I have tried to be optimistic, considering it has been my first year at Blakehurst High School. Along with this, It is enjoyable to have peace and quiet in your own comfortable space, as volume can often become quite hectic in a classroom, despite missing face-to- face teaching. By having this significant change of online learning, I’ve been able to understand change in a wider perspective, as it's been a sudden situation for everyone to cope with throughout this COVID-19 crisis, including 7B.
